How To Fix Not Getting Texts On Apple iPhone X

Missing out on important messages and notifications from people that matter to you is a very huge deal especially if you are expecting a very important text or message from a very important client or friend or family. The good news is that you won’t have to reach for the moon in order to fix this issue. All you need to do is try a couple of fixes designed to solve this type of problem.

There are two issues that need to be tackled when it comes to this kind of problem on the iPhone X. One is that you can’t get text messages or as what some people call an SMS from somebody who has sent such message from an iPhone. The other issue would be that you can’t send text messages or SMS to people who either own a Windows, Android, or Blackberry phone, because those messages are being sent as iMessages.

The two issues mentioned above are being caused when you use an iPhone and send iMessages with it and then you transfer your sim card to an android device or phone. If you were not able to deactivate iMessage before using the sim card on the android device, the other iOS device will now start to use iMessage in sending text or sms messages. Luckily, we have designed a couple of fixes to address this problem.

One way you can go about when fixing this issue on your iPhone X is by opening the Settings app on the phone. After that, click on Messages, and then Send & Receive. Click on Use your Apple ID for iMessage and log in with your Apple ID. Double check to see if your phone number and Apple ID are listed under You Can Be Reached By iMessage. Now, on your other iOS devices, return to the Settings app and then click Messages, then Send & Receive.

You can also deactivate iMessage remotely by visiting the LINKDeregister iMessageLINK page and deactivate iMessage from there. When you reach the deregister iMessage page, go to the bottom of the page and click on the option “no longer have your iPhone?” Under this option, there is a field where you can enter your phone number and then select your region. After that, click Send code. Enter the code in the field “enter confirmation code” and then click submit.
