For very proud Essential PH-1 owners, you will eventually want to learn how to get rid off the bloatware. Bloatware are the pre-installed apps that are unused or unnecessary that come with your Essential PH-1. Many would like to know how to get rid of them. But just a heads up, removing these unnecessary applications or disabling them does not ensure a bigger space for you to be able to install other applications on your phone.
Some of the Essential PH-1 bloatware applications can be totally gotten rid of or deleted, but there are some that you can only be disarmed or disabled. When a bloatware is disabled, it will not be running in your device anymore like a deleted or uninstalled bloatware, but it would still be in the device itself, only dormant.
Examples of bloatware on your Essential PH-1 are Google applications such as Gmail, Google Hangouts, G+, and others. In addition to this, there are also Essential software installed such as S Health, S Voice, and other redundant applications.
How to Get Rid of Bloatware on Your Device
- Switch your Essential PH-1 device ON
- Click on the App Tray of the device, and do to and click on the edit button
- Tap the minus icon next to an app to remove it
