This feature lets you customize your contacts. It notifies you with a different approach when a certain contact calls or sends you a text message. You can set up Priority Mode by tapping the volume button of your Motorola Moto Z2 mobile phone. Select Priority Mode when the dialog box pops up on your screen. Two different options can be seen below the Priority Mode and can be adjusted for different periods of time. You can use the plus and minus button to set on how long the Priority Mode will last. A star Icon will appear with a notification bar once a customized contact calls or sends you message. You will still receive messages or calls from contacts that are not set to priority mode, they will be on silent mode, so you won’t be notified if they call or sends you a message.

You can change and customize or personalize Priority Mode in several different ways. You can change and customize apps like, events and reminders, calls and messages and can be changed with toggle switches. Another option for this feature is that you can set it up to automatically turn ON or OFF for a certain time and date. Just set the feature to your desired time and date and it will automatically Turn On or OFF.

To start, go to the Sound and Notification screen and go to App Notification. Then choose any app, toggle and switch it to Priority Mode. What’s great about the Priority Mode is that it can block contacts that you do not want, unless it’s urgent.
