There are several reasons why one would want to block calls. You can use it to stop receiving calls from spammers, unwanted people and for other reasons. Below, we will show you just how to do this.
On your Motorola Moto Z2 phone, blocking calls is referred to as rejection. On other operating systems it might be know as do not disturb. Here are the steps on setting up rejection on your phone:
Using the Auto-Reject List to Block Incoming Calls
One method used to set-up your blocked incoming calls on Moto Z2 is through the Phone app. Enter the application, then select More from the top-right corner of your screen. Select Settings, then find the option Call Rejection, which should be second on the list. Next, once in the Call rejection page, tap on the Auto-reject list option. Here, you may select a person from your contacts, or manually enter a number whose calls you want to be automatically blocked from your phone. This also shows all the past numbers or contacts that you have blocked, so it is easier to add or remove them anytime you want to start receiving their calls again.
Blocking Calls Individually per Contact
An alternative way of blocking incoming calls from an individual person or number on your Moto Z2 is by going through the Phone app. Then, tap on the Call log option, and select the number from the logs that you no longer want contact with. Select the More button on from the top-right corner of your screen, then the Add to auto reject list option. This method is faster is you’ve had a recent call from the person you wish to block.
